Radio Shack to the Rescue
My Kodak Easy Share camera took less than 20 picture before the batteries died. This will never do. I thought I'd need a AC adapter and then I would only be able to take pictures as far as the electrical cord would allow. But that isn't what happened. I now have a card (which I never had before) that holds over 700 pictures and a Digital Card Reader/Writer to use for getting pictures into the computer. I guess using the camera for transferring pictures really sucks up the battery life. I'm going to try this for awhile and if I'm not happy, I'll go with a charger and rechargeable batteries.

My Next Quilt

Freecycle
I love freecycle. I just got rid of 33 quart size canning jars to people planting a big garden this year. And another thing. 20 of the jars were in a white crate type thing I was also glad to get rid of. On freecycle you can ask for something or you can offer up something. I have given away yarn, egg boxes, fabric, books, etc.
Twining Loom

This is my new twining loom; it's placemat size and is a nice addition to my collection of 'things to do'.
I also met up with the woman who is in charge of the CSM (Circular Sock Machine) group in Fairfield. The next meeting is June 20. I will go and if I don't 'get' it there, I'll pay to take some lessons from her.
She is also looking for production knitters - I may be interested in that. Maybe I've been retired long enough.

Pictures Today

The first one was made by my friend Dianne Z. It's quilted with a variegated red, white, blue thread. I'm not remembering off-hand what pattern it is.
Picture #2 is back view of picture #3. Picture #3 pattern is Picket Fence and was pieced by members of Clamshell Quilters.
